Biography

Born in former East Germany, Pastor Ingolf and his wife Angela Schmidt started a prayer group in their home that would later become Living Word Church Leipzig, which they founded in 1985 behind the Iron Curtain. Since the Iron Curtain fell, they have been pastoring the church now known as “City Church Leipzig eV.” Pastor Ingolf and his wife Angela travel frequently into Germany, Europe, Asia, Central America, and the United States of America.

Pastor Ingolf and Angela have been married since 1980 and currently live in Leipzig, Germany. He and his wife were ordained in 1992 by Dr. Lester Sumrall.
